Hand with banana

This work is an artistic visualization of relationships. It reflects on topics such as racism, discrimination, community, needs, dependencies.

We are more than monkeys, but we also want a banana. Don’t Get me wrong! Some of you maybe hate bananas, but…If you want something, you have to learn how to jump. You are OK doing it because you need this banana. It is possible to live without a banana, but you prefer to jump. We all want a banana, green or mature, in the morning or for a dessert, every day or once a week, coated with chocolate or shared.

Everything outside of our direct control is a banana. We choose whether and how much we try to catch it. The relationships are a banana exchange.

We are dependent on one another. We want that. Without dependency, there are no relationships. No life. Our independence is expressed in the choice of dependencies.
